1. Donald Trump
The fact that Donald Trump is a frontrunner/problem in the Republican party is so ridiculous, it’s comical. A New Poll has the smut at the top of the poll. He’s so out of touch, he’s John McCain.
2. Conservatives still think half the country is lazy and won’t work
Jeb Bush, this week, claimed that people needed to ‘work longer hours’ in order to make more money. Most Americans, including myself work hard as hell. This ‘handout’ business is a trash argument. It’s quite an ignorant and pretty offensive, but also ironic because most of the people who vote republican rely on public assistance of some sort from farm subsidies to WIC and welfare.
3. The Confederate Flag is ‘a thing’
The confederate flag should’ve been banned 1865 when the war ended. The losers lost, yet centuries later, we’re still debating about this flag. A section of this country cannot seem to let go and realize, “Hey, self, this thing is a symbol of hate, oppression and terrorism and offends some folks, Maybe I should take it down.” A poll recently released said most Republicans don’t find the Confederate flag racist..of course they don’t.
4. The old creepy white men thing
Have you seen the republican presidential candidates list? It’s so white, Senator Jim Inhofe tried to bring it into congress to debate global warming. With the exception of those two women who are also old and white, Ben Carson who wants to make money and Bobby Genitals who is Indian but is whiter than most white candidates, these group of people don’t look like the real United States. The Republican party doesn’t foster diversity, doesn’t invoke a diverse array of beliefs and harbors views that are pretty flat out racist at times. I know what you’re going to say, ‘black man who writes blogs, the democratic field is white too,’ and I say, “That’s because minorities weren’t dumb enough to think they’d win against Hillary.” although Bernie Sanders is interesting…
5. Cheaters don’t win
Republicans have gerrymandered their way into a majority in Congress and Senate. Had they won based off their issues and great candidates, this would not be an issue. This did not happen. The conservatives have hijacked the republican party with their crazy views, regressive views and now the country is suffering from it. Crazy old uncles.
